Film Companies
There are two types of film companies, one being conglomerate and the other being independent film companies. A conglomerate is, by definition, a large company that consists of divisions of seemingly unrelated businesses. An example of a conglomerate is Vivendi, they own Universal Studios, Canal+ and also own the film company Working Title Films. The other type of film company is an independent film company. They are a film company that will make all films by themselves with no backing from a conglomerate, they will go to film production companies with their films and try to get them to in a way sponor their film so they can get it made. An example of an independent film company is Ruby Films or Zebra Films.
